William Hill is withdrawing from the online market in the Canadian province of British Columbia.

Players in British Columbia received a message late last week informing them that the bookmaker is to cease operations in the province, citing “regulatory reasons beyond its control.”

The message included the statement: “We will be suspending the accounts of all residents of British Columbia. From May 10 you will not be able to use our online gaming products.”

“Nevertheless, you will still be able to access your account and withdraw any outstanding balance at any time, unless we notify you otherwise in future. To do so, please visit our website.”
