he UK’s Gambling Commission only awarded Yggdrasil a license in December, but the swift roll out means its proprietary iSENSE 2.0 platform and full suite of games are now available to British players for the first time.
The Swedish supplier has already signed agreements with six operators in Britain – LeoVegas, Mr Green, Unibet, Vera&John, ComeOn and Betsson – with more set to follow.
Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, said: “We’re thrilled to be live in the UK, which is now an extremely important market for Yggdrasil. We’ve had a very encouraging start given that we only received our license at the end of last year, and are already live with some operators. The UK marketplace is the most competitive in Europe, but we have a track record of succeeding in every market we enter, and I am confident our industry-leading platform and games will allow us to repeat the trick there.”
