hat products have you chosen to exhibit at FADJA this year?
Inspired will have its biggest stand to date at Fadja 2016 and we’ll be showing more server based VLTs than ever before. Among these will be 8 Inceptor, 6 Optimus, and 2 Machete cabinets, each featuring Inspired’s chart-topping Colombian games. These SBG cabinets are ready for the new Colombian regulations – both networked re and the future ruta regs.
We’ll also be showcasing a selection of our award-winning Virtual Sports products which will be launching in Colombia this year and our mobile games on the stand. Visitors to Fadja are invited to join us on stand 48 to experience our world-leading product portfolio for themselves.
"We anticipate that there will be a move towards more skill-based games in the coming years, and this is a trend we are looking forward to embracing"
Recently Inspired partnered with Admiral and Bet365 to launch its Virtual Sports products in Italy. What has been the response so far? How is the company positioned in Europe?
Italy is a hugely important market for Inspired – 20% of all bets in Italy are now made on Inspired’s products – and our partnerships with Admiral and Bet365 have added strength to our market leadership there. Feedback has been incredibly positive, and we’re looking forward to more exciting deals and partnerships in the future.
The UK continues to be Inspired’s biggest market, but we are expanding globally and this will include a continued rollout into Europe and USA and of course into Colombia.
Why is Colombia an important market segment for your company?
Colombia is an important part of our expanding global business, and as regulations change we anticipate continued growth in this market. Our Colombian business, which operates in collaboration with Algazara, is focused on gaming machines at this stage, but uniquely our entire machines estate in Colombia is server based, which means our machines make more income for operators as we introduce new games continuously. We are launching Coljuegos approved Virtual Sports in Colombia with a number of operators this year and of course we expect to be an important player in the Colombian online and mobile market when it becomes legal in Colombia.
What are the top trends facing the industry in 2016?
The trend towards Virtual Reality continues apace, and I think we’ll see more and more immersive gaming experiences coming to the market in the near future. Our Virtual Tyson suite of games is a great example of how we anticipated and reacted to this trend at Inspired and we’re looking forward to launching in retail and online and mobile in 2016. We anticipate that there will be a move towards more skill-based games in the coming years, and this is a trend we are looking forward to embracing.
What will be your main focus over the next few months?
In terms of innovation, Inspired will be working to produce yet more award winning games which will keep players entertained across all channels. We’ll be again focusing on our UK and international growth, and looking for opportunities in emerging markets. It’s a hugely exciting time for Inspired as we continue to produce and deliver entertainment with an edge to more consumers globally than ever before.
