SJM Holdings has opened up part of the newly refurbished Grand Lisboa which is part of a larger overhaul of the companies flagship venue.

The new gaming area has extended by 870 square meters allowing for another 10 gaming tables and more than 40 slot machines, along with a new dining lounge, with the gaming area located on the upper first floor – a mezzanine.

 

It is not clear when the entire venue will complete its refurbishment which began in the summer of 2014

In total the Grand Lisboa offers 400 gaming tables and almost 900 slot machines. It is not clear when the entire venue will complete its refurbishment which began in the summer of 2014, but the company is also in the middle of building a new casino resort on Cotai, and that is scheduled to be ready at the end of 2017, costing $3.9 billion and expected to be called the ‘Lisboa Palace’.
