oining from Gala Coral Interactive where he was Head of Web & Mobile Product that involved running a team of product managers, analysts and developers across all web and mobile offerings, he has several years of experience working in online gaming and e-commerce.
Nigel Birrell, Chief Executive of Lottoland, said: “Rob’s extensive online experience is a welcome addition to our growing management team, providing us with excellent capabilities to develop further our mobile capabilities. We are quickly expanding, evidenced by the securing of a licence and successful launch in Australia last week where we signed up 250,000 new players alone on the back of our ‘free-line’ offer for new customers to bet on the outcome of the world-record breaking $1.6 billion PowerBall jackpot in the US.”
Before his successful time at Gala Coral where he oversaw the relaunch of its mobile casino product, Fell spent two years at Paddy Power, one of Europe’s leading online betting companies. At Paddy Power he was manager of and responsible for the launch of the company’s live online casino and the significant upgrade of its bingo app.
On joining Lottoland, Fell said: “These are exciting times for Lottoland that is setting a very fast pace as it leads the push to open up a global market for betting on lotteries. I’m impressed with Lottoland’s achievements since it launched less than three years ago and relish this opportunity to help put further distance between the market-leading Lottoland and its competitors.”
Prior to moving into online gaming, Fell was a Commissioned Officer in the Royal Corps of Signals and then moved on to work with e-commerce start-ups in the supply and logistics, and finance fields. In the past few months, Lottoland has strengthened its management team by recruiting Lucky Multani as Chief Operating Officer and Glen Bullen as VP of its new B2B division.
