Fresh after news that it is one of two bidders for the state-run horse racing promotions company Caymanas Track Limited, Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) has started the roll-out of a new technology platform, IFLEX, for its sports betting operations.

T

he significant investment is being implemented in conjunction with SVL's technology partner for sports betting - Intralot.

The roll-out started last Tuesday after SVL spent time preparing its staff, agents and the terminal operators on the front line to deliver the new offering, which provides a huge jump in betting options and leagues, combined with live betting throughout events.

"The IFLEX betting platform project is worth over US$1 million and will see investment in a state-of-the art, innovative, robust and high-performance betting solution that meets the growing demands of the international gaming industry. It is an excellent platform that supports both the current retail and future Internet channels, allowing customers to move beyond the compromises of the current generation of betting technology," said Brian George, president and CEO of SVL.

According to George, the new IFLEX technology platform is an easier interface for JustBet agents to sell SVL's offering and grow retailer income.

He said the platform will also allow for faster transaction processing, the addition of social space gaming and entertainment content, and will take the gaming industry into a new realm, with content similar to that offered in North America and Europe.

"We took the time to get this right and will continue to make our mark in Jamaica's gaming industry with innovative and creative gaming content to suit the market's needs. The new IFLEX technology platform will also pave the way for our mobile gaming delivery, coming soon," said George.
