NMi has a record of working globally with regulators, Ing. Manuel San Roman Benavente, Director General of Casinos Games and Slot Machines of MINCETUR confirmed that NMi will help them to achieve the objectives of the Ministry.
With currently only a handful of certified labs, Peru, as one of the few countries regulating gambling across Latin America, is working with NMi across the casino and slot market.
Engineer Manuel San Roman Benavente, added, "NMi’s entry as a new certification laboratory is a source of satisfaction for us. We believe in fair competition among all players that make up the activity, especially in the greater possibilities and alternatives available to operators to certify their products to the Peruvian market".
This news follows the announcement that NMi received formal approval by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to certify online and terrestrial gaming systems for use in the Philippines.
NMi Business Development Manager, Julian Borg-Barthet, noted, "Over the last 5 years, NMi has gained substantial market share in the gaming industries certification and auditing business in Europe and around the world. Due to the level of customer service and particularly our response time, NMi is going from strength to strength. NMi's reputation is leading a customer-driven worldwide expansion from Asia to Latin America and I am very proud of the people I work with and the passion they bring to work every day".
Rosewarne concluded, "Of course Peru is only the start of our ambitions in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our customers see opportunities emerging in Mexico, Panama and Colombia to name just a few, but of course the whole region is interesting and exciting to us".
As a highly respected gaming laboratory NMi offer diverse opportunities to Peru, given the challenging environment MINCETUR encounters. NMi's accreditation once again demonstrates NMi's reputation for reliability, capacity and experience in the market.
