Last week, Comtrade Gaming appointed Igor Rus as Head of Business Development in an effort to expand into new opportunities and markets. Rus granted an interview to Yogonet, where he talked about his new role.

Last week, Comtrade Gaming appointed Igor Rus as Head of Business Development in an effort to expand into new opportunities and markets. Rus granted an interview to Yogonet, where he talked about his new role.

hat does your new role entail and what does this mean for Comtrade Gaming on a global level?

I will be focusing on opportunities in new markets globally and on new partnerships with complementary partners around the globe. My past experience will help the company with the creation of new products that will better serve our present and future clients.  Comtrade Gaming is a dynamic, rapidly growing company and I am really excited about the opportunity to strengthen our brand image much further and increase our reach across the world.

How do you intend to expand Comtrade Gaming, both as a business and a concept?

Gaming is a rapidly changing environment, at Comtrade we take a very flexible approach that allows us to react promptly to the legislation and operational challenges of our clients.  We are fortunate to have products and solutions for both the online and land based industry. In online there is currently a lot of focus on our iCore product which is a market leading enterprise gaming platform while in land base we have sCore which is the perfect monitoring solution for regulators and operators. Our products are backed up by a first class record in delivery and our strongest marketing tool is our existing clients and the good things they say about us. Business expansion will come from increasing our foothold in existing markets and addressing the needs of new markets.

Are you planning to diversify and undertake new projects?

Our commitment to providing excellent service means that when we take on new projects we ensure this is not to the detriment of our existing clients. Having said that like and company growth is always important and 2015 has already seen us start work with two major new clients and there are other potential new projects already in pipeline. We are expanding in every aspect of our business and still exceed expectations of our partners with our performance.

What's next for Comtrade Gaming?

Comtrade Gaming will continue to bring innovative and tailor made solutions for the gaming industry.

In the monitoring central systems part of business we will be committed to work closely with open standards agreed on industry level ( GSA ) and continue to design systems that will optimize costs and provide effective solutions for regulators .

Our enterprise platform solution designed for high traffic load will be further enriched with player engaging features. Remote gaming server and framework solution will further facilitate the transition for Las Vegas style slot machine vendors to mobile and desktop offering.

Where will you be exhibiting in the second half of 2015?

We will certainly have a presence at all major gaming shows worldwide as well as attending major conferences. The next show that we will be attending will be G2E Las Vegas in September, myself and the rest of team look forward to meeting new and existing clients there.
