GT recently held its own event for Peruvian operators and also participated in the Peru Gaming Show. What products did you highlight?

IGT had a very productive experience at the Peru Gaming Show. Coming off the heels of our intimate customer showcase, “IGT’s Peru Showroom,” we went into the trade show with a lot of momentum and customer enthusiasm for our products. We highlighted quite a few of our game and hardware innovations at the trade show, including our newly launched CrystalDual cabinet. Our customers were impressed with the CrystalDual cabinet’s rich content pipeline and its remarkable presentation. We also presented our spinning-reel S3000 cabinet, the very successful Oxygen cabinet and its impressive game library with themes such as The Money Drop, Peruvian Riches and Secrets of the Sea, the widely successful diversity multi-game solution and Sphinx 3D featuring True 3D technology on the Axxis cabinet. We rounded out our showcase by presenting several of our casino management systems solutions including our widely praised System2Go product.

Peru is considered a mature gaming market in Latin America, in which the regulatory body has played a vital role, especially in the last five years. What role should manufacturers and operators play in order to remain competitive?

IGT is very well positioned in the Peruvian market and a key to that success continues to be our Customer First approach to doing business. As a global supplier, it’s critical we listen to our customers and develop products that meet the unique demands of their players. We understand that every detail of the player and customer experience are equally critical. We also believe that having the right casino management systems can maximize floor performance and operator ROI, so we keep a sharp focus on that piece of our business as well.


IGT’s portfolio features a robust systems solutions segment. Tell us about the company’s latest innovations.

By bringing together the systems offerings of both GTECH and IGT, we now have a systems portfolio that is stronger and more diverse than ever. From traditional casino management systems, to applications for sports betting, we have a system innovation that meets the unique business demands of any type of gaming customer. Our System2Go casino management system proved to be a huge hit at the Peru Gaming Show. Our customers really see the value in the interactive player display that comes with this product which can connect to any gaming machine. In today’s interactive world, it’s more important than ever that players can enjoy interactive gaming experiences.

What was the feedback from tradeshow attendees?

Overall, our customers are very impressed with the “Winning Combination” of the new IGT. They are very excited about the future of the Company and what it means to bring together two industry leaders like IGT and GTECH. Our customers recognized that our product portfolio boasts both breadth and depth and that IGT is delivering the gaming industry’s most cutting-edge gaming experiences to their casino floors.
