hat will you be doing at the iGaming Super Show? What are your expectations for the event?
We have a booth on the expo floor – B51, in which we will be meeting with lots of our current customers. We also plan to talk to any gaming operators that are interested in learning how to improve their player retention efforts and join over 150 brands that already work with us, including 888, Bwin.party, Amaya, Bet Victor and Sporting Bet. iGaming Super Show is an important event for the industry in that it brings together operators, vendors and experts from across the globe and creates valuable business and networking opportunities, so we have really high expectations.
Customer Marketing is an effective strategy to achieve revenue goals. How do you help companies embrace this new era of CM?
Optimove is the industry’s leading player retention software, enabling operators to grow revenue through their existing player base. The tide has definitely shifted within the gaming industry, where most gaming operators now realize just how crucial customer marketing is to meeting their overall revenue goals, and increase their profitability. Customer acquisition is becoming more and more expensive, and operators understand that they must invest in keeping those customers that they spent so much to acquire. Optimove is a key enabler for operators to do exactly that – deliver automated, highly-effective personalized customer marketing campaigns across multiple channels resulting in significant increases in player engagement and spend, while reducing churn. We don't really have to do much to convince operators to embrace our customer marketing technology -- we just have to help them understand the right way to go about it, and provide them with the means to do so. Once we showcase our unique customer modeling, predictive micro-segmentation and campaign automation technologies, and explain how they can help create on-going one-to-one relationships with each and every player, operators tend to get really excited about how they can apply it to their operations.
Why is retention a gold mine of opportunity?
An effective retention strategy, powered by the right technologies and tools, is absolutely vital to maximizing the lifetime value of players. Without an efficient retention strategy and the means to execute it, the operator might lose a player within the first week or two that could have otherwise become a loyal player for months or years. Even once players churn and seem to quit playing, it's possible to engage with these lapsed users and turn them into re-activated customers once more. And of course, the longer a player is active, the more revenue the operator stands to make off of them.
From 2013 to 2014, Optimove doubled both its revenue and the number of active users on its platform. What can you tell us about your financial results in Q1 2015?
We had yet another excellent quarter and saw continued growth and momentum, just as we saw throughout 2014.
What are your plans for the rest of 2015?
We are continuing to improve our product and innovate the entire retention marketing space, while growing our business in the US and European markets. In the past year we opened offices in London and New York, and are now growing our staff in these territories. We plan to hit 100% growth again, and continue to dominate our space.
