ow did Panamanian operators respond to the new IGT “Winning Combination”?

The presence of the new IGT at SAGSE was received with great interest and enthusiasm. The complementary products and solutions in the "Winning Combination" are offering the industry’s most extensive and varied portfolio to international markets and meet the increasing and diverse demands of operators in Panama.

Taking into account your recent participation at SAGSE, how do you see the Panamanian market? What opportunities and challenges are you seeing?

Panama’s economy is growing and is expected to continue to receive foreign capital investment. Even though this factor is set to boost the country’s financial position, this does not necessarily mean that the gaming market will continue to grow at a fast pace. The number of entertainment and recreation options in Panama has been growing in the past years and as a result, the competition for players’ attention has grown as well. Gaming suppliers must continue to evolve and innovate by developing exciting content that meets the needs of players and keeps them entertained.

Which of IGT's products is currently having high market share in Central America & the Caribbean?

Our flagship hardware, the OXYGEN cabinet, has performed very successfully across Latin America and Central America. Our multigames are also very popular with players in this market as they like having the option to choose the game that most accommodate their preferences. Similarly, the AVP platform is another flagship product that continues to perform well.

How are your newest products performing in the region?

We are currently introducing our latest products to the market, with some great initial results, such as THE MONEY DROP game, which is based on the international hit television series and also was a great hit with customers at SAGSE Panama.

Other products that we will continue to promote in this market include premium products such as the AXXIS cabinet with TRUE 3D award-winning technology, as well as the new S3000 and CrystalDual cabinets.

Both IGT and GTECH used to organize showrooms, deliver trainings and host events parallel to trade shows, will you continue doing them? What's in the agenda for the next months?

We will definitely continue with our strong focus and dedicated programs for our customers in Latin America. This year we have already had a very successful presence at FADJA Colombia and now at SAGSE Panama. We just completed our flagship event, the Peru Showroom, which featured the presence of our CEO International, Walter Bugno and other senior executives from our new organization. The Peru Showroom featured the IGT University sessions, the first gastronomic competition of casinos in the industry, more than 50 machines on display, the chance to win tickets for the Formula 1 in Mexico and a large celebration party for the launch of the new IGT.
