n May 27th 2015, Galaxy Entertainment Group opened Macau’s first major resort since 2012 with its expanded Galaxy Macau Phase II resort and Broadway Macau.
The resorts feature three additional hotels, a casino and 100,000 square meters of gross retail area and marks a HK$43 billion of a HK$100 billion planned investment by the group in Macau.
Galaxy Macau now includes six hotels offering 4,000 rooms, suites and villas, as well as two spas. Luxury hotels Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott and Broadway Hotel have now been added to the already existing Banyan Tree Macau, Hotel Okura Macau and Galaxy Macau. In four years the resort has doubled in size, currently standing at 1.1 million square meters.
TCS John Huxley also supplied its Baccarat Blaze and Omni Baccarat Scoreboard displays. In addition, a maintenance agreement to support the products has been signed for one year.
In addition, Broadway Macau saw 35 Baccarat displays and 3 Double Sicbo Blaze tables added to the gaming floor for the opening.
This was the first installation in Macau of the latest Blaze suite of products, which feature unique LED surface technology incorporating a sophisticated illumination system. The slim-line, energy efficient LED matrix sits below the surface of the gaming table, providing attraction sequences, number highlighting and dynamic light displays that are fully customisable and integrate with e-FXTM displays.
