“We've worked extremely hard on this show and the results speak for themselves. Not only did the attendance increase but also the quality of visitors improved. We managed to offer an attractive show for both Panamanian and Central American & Caribbean operators,” pointed Burak after two fruitful days.
“Thanks to this show, Panama has once again proved to be a business hub in Central America & the Caribbean.”
“Although our expectations were high, they were certainly exceeded. Exhibitors have expressed their trust in us and their satisfaction with the show. Around 70% of exhibitors have already confirmed their presence at SAGSE 2016,” Burak added.
When asked about SAGSE Argentina, Burak affirmed: “This is a defining year for the local market. The restrictions on imports and the State's effort to sustain the trade balance represent an obstacle for those manufacturers and distributors who have historically joined us in Buenos Aires. In spite of this, we are confident that after the October election the scenario will change.”
“We believe SAGSE Argentina will be a springboard to the recovery of the industry. Only the strongest survive, and now's the time to reap what we sow,” he concluded.
