ow was Alfastreet’s experience in Colombia?
We are very satisfied with the outcome of the show, the organization was great, we had productive meetings with our partners and clients, not to mention we had the opportunity to welcome our friends, who always come in big numbers at these events.
Regarding FADJA 2015, you stated the following: “Despite a slight arrest in the operator’s investments into new equipment due to the sharp rise of the dollar, the company has further established itself as a reference point in the field of ETG's” What can you tell us about Alfastreet’s performance in the Colombian market in the past few years?
It has been a constant progress – the clients and operators have learned to embrace the concept of a high quality product, that is adapted to their needs and the requirements of the players, generating much higher return on investment in a long run. The Alfastreet machines are now the reference point on the market and we are continuing the strong run with our 2015 product line. We have invested a lot of time and resources into incorporating the demands of the local players into the design of the machines and especially the user interface, achieving great results.
Why is Colombia a relevant market for your company?
Colombia is a specific market, considering its geopolitical position and the influence on other countries of Central America and the Caribbean. It is also a country where gaming industry is very important and the players love to play the electronic roulette.
Unfortunately, there were a couple of years of inactivity in Colombia, due to big pressure from other markets, during which we allowed some of the competitors to gain ground with, quite frankly, an inferior product. Since this is a typical “roulette market”, we needed a very short time to recover and re-establish ourselves in leading position, by providing the operators with the best machines at a right price. Basically, if you are successful on this market, there are very good possibilities you'll replicate the same in other Latin American countries. That is why we take each and every market specifics very seriously, and that's probably a big part of our success. Our machines are compliant with the toughest standards of the world – prepared to meet any challenge.
What is the most significant opportunity that you’re seeing at the moment?
At the moment we are focused on maintaining the top position on all of the South American markets, which are currently the ones with the highest growth in gaming industry, therefore we'll keep a very close cooperation with our distributors and partners, to provide customers and players with top quality, custom tailored products.
How do you adapt your product offering to different customers?
Alfastreet has found the way to create machines that can be adapted to virtually any requirements, and has been doing it successfully for over 20 years. An achievement like this doesn't happen by chance, it is a result of years of dedication, careful designing and adapting the machines in cooperation with our partners, to deliver customized product which satisfies the customers every wish.
