Luna shared the company’s experience at recent FADJA show: “Colombian operators are concentrating their efforts on satisfying 100 percent of the COLJUEGOS regulatory requirements as well as complying with the country´s modernization and professionalization of gaming activities.”

ow did FADJA 2015 pan out for IGT? How can you assess the quantity and quality of visitors? Did you meet all the operators you expected?

Once again, this year´s FADJA Colombia show brought together the best portfolio of products for all regional operators. In addition to local customers, there was significant attendance by Peruvian operators. Also of note was the increased presence of European exhibitors and first-time visitors to Colombia. This edition of the fair also included the iGaming and Sports Betting sectors, which shows the continued growth of FADJA in accordance with new market trends.

Which products generated greater demand?

Once again, we stressed our focus on innovation with  products such as the progressive THE MONEY DROP,based on the internationally successful television series, and bringing the thrill of live TV shows to casino gaming. Furthermore, the multi-level mystery jackpot PERUVIAN RICHES is the first of its kind featuring a regional theme, as well as SECRETS OF THE SEA, another highly versatile mystery jackpot. Further highlights of our show display were the new diversity multigame suites, our premium and award-winning TRUE 3D product line on the AXXIS cabinet, and licensed games from PopCap on the MaxVusion cabinet.

On the Casino Systems side, we presented the comprehensive GALAXIS casino management system with its latest releases developed especially for Latin America, as well as the standalone, turnkey jackpots solution JP2go that can be deployed quickly and easily on a single bank of machines or across multiple venues.

What are the main concerns of Colombian operators? What have they expressed?

At present, Colombian operators are concentrating their efforts on satisfying 100 percent of the COLJUEGOS regulatory requirements as well as complying with the country´s modernization and professionalization of gaming activities.

There are also other challenging factors to Colombian operators that could affect directly their operations, like the dollar exchange rate fluctuation.

What are your short and medium term goals in Colombia?
