Play’n GO has followed up on the launch of its Tower Quest slot by releasing another game with fantastical elements. The developer’s Golden Legend slot will bring players to China, a land with tens of thousands of years worth of heritage. Fortune and prosperity are the core themes of the slot.

C

hinese symbology has inspired many online slot games before now. Play’n GO is attempting to breathe new life into the theme by creating a slot game that is larger than the average. Rather than expecting players to spin five reels over 15, 20, or even 25 paylines, Play’n GO has packed Golden Legend with a staggering 50 paylines. Win on a payline and you will have the option to gamble by guessing the colour or suit of a mystery card.

While trying to match symbols across the paylines, players can discover iconic imagery from Chinese folklore. The Golden Sycee is an illustrious boat that functions as the wild symbol, while the Foo Dog does not look like the pets found in any homes outside of fiction.

A better symbol, though, is the Golden Dragon. This legendary creature will trigger 10 free spins if it chooses to land on the third reel of the slot. Two wild symbols will then be added to the reels with every free spin, which will increase the likelihood that you will generate winnings. Wild symbols are stacked on top of each other on reels two to five. Up to 20 free spins can be unlocked in one go.
