The Caribbean’s largest casino operator by number of casinos, Dreams Corporation, has closed all its operations in the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

Dreams Corporation was funded entirely by Canadian billionaire and philanthropist Michael DeGroote, who is claiming he was defrauded by people who ran his Caribbean gaming empire.

News coming out of Canada and the Caribbean is complex and includes major scale fraud, potential contract killings and the Canadian Mafia.

Dreams Corporation had announced last year they were going to go on a major buying spree of casinos throughout the Caribbean and claimed to have 17 casinos in the Dominican.
