OpenBet has earned a One Star accreditation in the 2015 Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for Survey. Official sources talked about the firm’s ongoing progress and its latest achievement.

The ranking system starts at Ones to Watch, includes One Star and Two Star, and peaks at Three Star, with many entrants achieving no accreditation.  “To receive recognition in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For Survey is a fantastic achievement. The ranking is widely acknowledged and respected as a barometer of workforce motivation and engagement. It supports our standing in the market with our customers and helps us to attract an even greater pool of talent,” said Doreena Ross, OpenBet Vice President of Human Resources.

OpenBet has over 400 employees in the UK, many of whom are long serving. Among current staff 54 people have reached their ten-year work anniversary. A further 78 have been with the firm for at least five years.

The scores and ratings assessed to compile the lists are based solely on employee opinions. The survey itself and the processing of results are handled by Best Companies, an independent research organisation.

Employees are questioned in eight areas of engagement: My Company, Leadership; My Manager; My Team Personal Growth; Fair Deal; Wellbeing and Giving Something Back.

The process is confidential at an individual level and open to all UK employees on board as of  August 31, 2014. Eligible participants have a two-week response period (10-24 October). A minimum completion rate of 40% is needed to be considered for ranking. OpenBet achieved a very encouraging 63%.

“The fact that it is an anonymous survey, and qualification for inspection is dependent on a strong response rate among a company’s employees goes to show that OpenBet is held in high regard by those that work here. The survey has helped us identify areas we can change for the better, as well as celebrating the aspects in which we do well,”added Ross.

The news comes as OpenBet announces a recruitment drive to support growth and the delivery of the company’s omni-channel gaming strategy.
