(Macau).- Developer Sands China, a subsidiary of Las Vegas' Sands Corporation, will built a multi-billion dollar Paris-themed resort which will include a replica of the Eiffel Tower. The Parisian Macao is set to open in late 2015.

Once complete, The Parisian Macao will feature more than 3,000 hotel rooms and suites, 45,990 square meters of retail space including dining and beverage options, as well as meeting and convention facilities.

Plans also include a replica of the Eiffel Tower, built fifty percent to scale of the original monument.

The Venetian Macao opened in 2007 as the first integrated resort in Macau.

Macau’s gambling industry rakes in seven times the revenue of its closest rival, Las Vegas, having netted the Chinese territory about US$45 billion in 2013, compared to USD 6.5 billion in the Sin City.
