Cotai's USD 1.1 B casino to open in 2016

(Macau).- Louis XIII has announced that its USD 1.1 B casino-hotel in Cotai will be open in the middle of 2016, where it will operate 66 gaming tables (50 premium mass and 16 VIP) according to previous regulatory filings.

(Macau).- Louis XIII has announced that its USD 1.1 B casino-hotel in Cotai will be open in the middle of 2016, where it will operate 66 gaming tables (50 premium mass and 16 VIP) according to previous regulatory filings.

Casino Louis XIII will  undertake the project under a so-called ‘service agreement’ with an existing Macau concessionaire or sub-concessionaire, although the identity of the license provider has so far not been confirmed by the company.

The owner is entrepreneur Stephen Hung who named the new resort after the French king who started building the famed Palace of Versailles, the resort will have over  6,039 square meters, with villas billed as the world’s “most extravagant” hotel suite that will reportedly cost US$ 130,000 a night.
