(Macau).- Shares in Macau casino operator SJM Holdings are among the Chinese stocks that some mainlanders intend to buy in the event of the stock exchanges in Shanghai and Hong Kong linking up, Bloomberg reports, quoting CSV China Opportunities chief investment officer Earl Yen.

The link-up between the stock exchanges would give mainland investors access to shares listed in Hong Kong. SJM Holdings is listed in Hong Kong but not in Shanghai.

Bloomberg says that on the whole mainlanders are unenthusiastic about buying stocks listed in Hong Kong.
