he new regulation was supported by the President of the Commission of Public Security of the Puebla Congress, Francisco Rodríguez Álvarez, and also includes pawn shops, courier and security transport services and other similar companies.
Alvarez also said that companies that do not comply with the new regulations will be closed. They will have to have surveillance cameras and pawn shops will be required to provide a digital footprint and documentation to prove the legal buying and selling of the goods.
The representative pointed out that the regulation is connected to the amendment of the Law of Public Security for the State, proposed by governor Rafael Moreno Valle, which was already approved by local representatives.
Francisco Rodríguez said that those in charge of drawing up the legal framework for the law's implementation are Secretary Generals of Government and Public Security, Luis Maldonado Venegas and Facundo Rosas Rosas.
