"We took advantage of the PGS show to make our online system Genuina known in the Peruvian market"

(Peru, exclusive Jean Paul Sabini, CEO of Asturia Technologies, talked to about the recent participation of the firm at Peru Gaming Show in Lima. On top of the novelties presented, he brought his vision about the Peruvian market and anticipated his plans for the rest of the year.


hat novelties have you presented at PGS 2014? Have you launched any specific product for the Peruvian market?
We took advantage of the PGS show to make our online system Genuina known in the Peruvian market. After we completed various high-quality installations in Mexico and Central America, we are beginning an aggressive commercialization with Genuina in Peru.  This is a BMM certified product and it’s in accordance with the country’s regulation (Peru).  We committed ourselves to offer a very competitive price strategy allowing operators to benefit from a product that has a superior quality with affordable prices.

How do you see the Peruvian market?
Peru represents a mature market and has numerous casinos and game rooms with different sizes and specific needs. In this sense, we are presented with a very interesting market for our product that is modular, configurable and it’s capable of handling several operational modes in order to respond to the specific needs of the operators, but always keeping the operational simplicity, thanks to our intuitive interface. We were able to interconnect a casino with 1,300 machines and a game room with 25 machines as well.  At the show, we confirmed  that several operators were not satisfied with their systems, since they don’t respond to their present operational reality. We truly believe in Genuina’s added value since it provides reliability, lower price and work environment customization.

Have you complied with the expectations you had for PGS?
In general, we are very satisfied with the show and the quality of the exchanges that took place with local operators. This indicates the present maturity of Peruvian industry. The public was very  attentive and allowed us to show Genuina’s value proposition: simplicity, reliability and modularity.  Our main goal was to advertise Genuina’s advantages within the local market and, in that way, achieve the same commercial success as we had within the region.

What are your plans for the rest of the year?
The rest of 2014 is  highlighted with an aggressive commercialization phase. We’d like to give the same opportunities to the operators that want to acquire Genuina for the operation of their game rooms and casinos without making disproportionate investments. According with this strategy, our price is very competitive and we guarantee our customer satisfaction. Please, remember that we’ve been the reference for the table progressive systems in Peru for more than 10 years, due to our 3G system that is installed at the main casinos in the country.  This acknowledgment and the reputation earned through our commitment with our clients, plus the quality of our products is, without a doubt, what ensures that we will provide the same quality product and an unparalleled service to our Genuina’s clients.

In which other shows will you participate?
Recently, we were present at the Bogota and Panama Shows. We will be very active at the regional events in order to promote our system. Likewise, we will hold, in several places, planned demonstrations of the system to deliver more information regarding Genuina.
