Among other new games unveiled by the firm

Konami’s Born From Fun in stood out at G2E Asia

(Macau).- At the G2E Asia 2014 show, Konami Gaming presented its innovations to the Asian gaming markets. The firm showcased several new products such as Brothers of Fortune, King of the World, More Gold More Silver and Red Fortune among others.

his year, Konami’s booth featured the following new products:


Brothers of Fortune is the newest member of Konami’s high performing linked progressive series. Designed specifically for the Asian market, Brothers of Fortune provides a unique themed art style, while boosting entertainment and offering memorable gameplay. In this four-level, symbol driven progressive, players win when red and/or blue brothers appear on any three reels. The combination of brothers determines the level of jackpot awarded.                   

As part of Konami’s UltraReels product series, King of the World features left-right scatter pays and a unique free game bonus feature that allows players to influence their destiny by choosing from a one of 3 different feature combinations of free games and multipliers. Based on the trigger symbols, players can win up to 30 free games or 100x multipliers.

More Gold More Silver is another new game from the UltraReels game series. In the free game bonus, players are put in control when they choose between three different statues. If the statue reveals a gold ingot, all the silver ingots become gold throughout the free games. This symbol transformation gives players the opportunity for big wins. If the ingot revealed silver, players still have the opportunity to win big as all gold ingots become silver for the free games.

Red Fortune is a KP3 5-reel game featuring a distinct Asian theme with symbols that generate good feelings for regional players. During free game features, wild symbols include multipliers on reels 2, 3, and 4. If players hit two or more multipliers, the cumulative value will be applied to the winning combination. This gives players the opportunity to experience high-volatility big wins during the feature.

Rapid Revolver, Konami presented two distinct gaming concepts fused into one impressive cabinet. The Rapid Revolver boasts a combination of a video reel primary game experience with six spinning reels, stacked and vertically-mounted in an oversized top box and surrounded by synchronized, high-impact sound and lighting. The combination of innovative spinning reels in the top box and powerful 3-D graphics in the base game were designed to stand out on a casino floor and grab the attention of casino guests. The Rising Dragon and Northern Treasure themes were on display and drawing attention.

The SeleXion multi-game cabinet instantaneous switches between games, denominations and languages. SeleXion includes a dynamic button panel and a scrolling, multi-game attract mode designed to alert customers to the special functions and variety of game themes available. Each SeleXion cabinet can feature up to 10 games, depending on game size, with up to three denominations per gam


SYNKROS was on display in the Konami booth and continued to garner attention for its True-Time Tournaments module. This innovative system-delivered tournament product provides operators with the ability to offer player-on-demand and synchronized start (SynkStart) tournaments via Konami’s proprietary True-Time Windowing technology. “Operators appreciate the power offered by a system-delivered bonusing tournament that awards entries to players who demonstrate any of the unlimited desired behaviors, including property visits, earning points, celebrating a birthday at the property, or signing up for a new card,” said the firm.
