(Peru, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Alex Stiglich, General Manager DRGT Peru, talked to Yogonet.com about the upcoming Peru Gaming Show. The executive spoke about APEX and Alfastreet products performance, the Peruvian market and the firm’s subsidiaries. “We at DRGT have successfully established ourselves as a major player in this market,” he said.

What does Peru have to offer to DRGT as a systems company for the gaming industry?
As we know, systems are obligatory in the Peruvian gaming market. We at DRGT have successfully established ourselves as a major player in this market. This success is based on the combination of our excellent systems along with our long-standing business philosophy. We work in partnership with our customers. Systems are key and are the foundation of operating gaming machines in Peru. Our customers know we are there for them now just as much as when the sale was made. Our continual support makes us stand out even more in the market place. We are a trusted systems partner who innovates for the benefit of our customers. In this way, our aim is to become the number one systems supplier in Peru. We have already proven that our system of drJackpots, drCashless or drTicketing and drPlayerTracking can grow operator revenue by 20%. This is a documented fact.

How do you evaluate the work of your Peruvian subsidiary after two years in the market?
Our Latin American subsidiary is based in Peru – that shows our dedication to the market. Even our confident sales figures have been beaten here and now with more than eight thousand machines connected in Latin America, and are aiming even higher with the regulations in Colombia. Our knowledge base is drawn upon for state governments when they are planning systems, as was the case in Peru and is to be the case in Colombia. We received the ‘AS de Oro’ (‘Golden Ace’) for outstanding achievements during 2013 here by the most recognised gaming magazine on this continent – namely Casinos de Latinoamérica.

Last year, you began to offer Alfastreet and APEX products in this market. How did local operators respond?
The best systems company needs to offer the best electronic roulettes and the best multigames. Thus, both companies have been a great success in Peru. Alfastreet, one of the biggest casino suppliers in the country, has the R8 Roulette machines. APEX players in Peru love the APEX gaming machines with ten different games which you can configure the lines to be 10 or 25 depending on what the casinos need. These machines are perfectly suitable for the biggest or smallest operations in Peru.

What are you going to exhibit at the Peru Gaming Show?
We’ll exhibit our 3 main products at the PGS, the first one is our system with a spotlight on drScreen and WAPs, since we know this is the next step for this market. We’ll also be showing the Alfastreet roulette and terminals with all of their features, and the 3 APEX models: Dual Slim Line with two19” screens, Pinnacle Upright with two 22" screens and Pinnacle SL with two 26" screens. These machines come already ticket-in, ticket-out ready.
