(Malta).- Dr Chris Cardona, Maltese Minister for the Economy, Investment and Small Business, has been confirmed as the opening speaker at this year's Malta iGaming Seminar 14 (MIGS14), while the Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority is the latest addition to a growing list of sponsors.

MIGS14 is confirmed to take place 11-12th November at the Hilton Malta by the organisers of the seminar: BMIT, Capstone Group, RE/MAX Malta, Sue Schneider and Ali Quantum Gaming.

The Malta iGaming Seminar is the only established seminar in the Mediterranean that focuses on providing a unique platform of discussion for C-Level executives and staff of the international iGaming community to discuss trending gaming topics and debate on the way forward for the Industry and networking opportunities.  Over the last five years the seminar has attracted delegates from across the globe, including the Americas, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Speaking about the event, past attendee, Chris Smart, ex Head of Gaming for Paypoint stated, “MIGS is one of the only events that is not commercially focused on selling you products. It is a great knowledge base where executives and staff of the gaming community come together and discuss the gaming sector. All those interested in the gaming industry should definitely attend”.

The Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) has been a key sponsor of the event for the past six years and has consistently been a key contributor to the content. The LGA has provided important expertise to the discussion panels and has extended their support for the 2014 edition. “We are most delighted that the LGA has yet again confirmed their support for our event. This reaffirms that our event is important to the iGaming Calendar,” commented Sue Schneider, MIGS Partner and iGaming Veteran.

MIGS has already confirmed a number of key speakers for the event including Warwick Bartlett.  Mr. Bartlett, chief executive and founder of Global Betting & Gaming Consultancy, has been a key figure in the iGaming Industry for the last 20 years, having consulted various countries including Malta on setting up their jurisdictions.  He has also consulted companies such as William Hill and Ladbrokes and is also the owner of the widely acclaimed Global Gambling Report.
