Macau analysts forecast record gaming revenue

(Macau).- Gross gaming revenue this month is on track to exceed USD 4.6 billion, the most ever. Sterne Agee analyst David Bain has increased the forecast for annual growth in revenue to 35 percent from somewhere between 26 percent and 28 percent.
“Macau table-only gross gaming revenue is USD 3.79 billion through February 23. The February run rate with five days of gross gaming revenue to go is around 42 percent year-on-year or USD 4.8 billion, which would exceed October’s monthly record by over 5 percent,” Mr Bain says.
Barclays predicts annual growth in revenue of at least 33 percent this month.
