'Cash In My Bet'

William Hill launches cash-out feature for mobile

(UK).- William Hill has launched its 'Cash In My Bet' feature for mobile devices, allowing players to cash out bets early. It was first launched online in December 2012, and is now available for every football match covered by William Hill, comprising more than 65,000 games each year.

t allows users to make a profit if a result is going in their favour or cash in early from accumulators. Cash In My Bet is available for pre-match, in-play and on multiple and single bets.

William Hill online’s head of mobile Juergen Reutter said the feature would give customers more control over their bets than ever before.

“They can now decide to get a guaranteed return either in-play or as part of a multiple after some teams have already won,” he explained. “We are committed to giving our customers the opportunity to use all our products, anytime anywhere – Cash in my Bet on mobile devices is a big step towards this, particularly in a World Cup year.”

In last week’s trading update the operator revealed that mobile sportsbook stakes grew 92 per cent year-on-year in the fourth quarter, with mobile gaming also growing in importance. Following improvements to the company’s offering, including a single sign-on for all products and a wider range of payment offerings, mobile gaming net revenue rose 199 per cent from Q4 2012.

In related news, William Hill has agreed a deal with Turf TV which sees the operator launch the channel’s US horse racing coverage across its retail estate.

Turf TV, a joint venture between racetrack media rights managers Racecourse Media Services and Timeweave, will prove coverage of courses such as Gulfstream Park in Miami, Pimlico in Baltimore and Maryland’s Laurel Park beginning in February this year.

William Hill’s director of UK and international retail James Henderson said that Turf TV had worked hard to win his company’s business, adding he was happy to have sealed the partnership.
“The presentation of American racing on Turf TV is high quality and our customers will find plenty of great racing to enjoy, particularly through the winter,” Henderson explained.

Turf TV managing director Adrian Ford said that William Hill’s customers would be able to enjoy “high-quality, competitive US racing packaged specifically for a UK market throughout the evening, every night of the week.”
