Caribbean Gaming Show & Summit organizers anticipate their upcoming edition

(Puerto Rico).- The Caribbean Gaming Show & Summit will be celebrating its 5th anniversary at the at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, next March 19-20. With three months to go, Elizabeth Leiva, CEO of CGS Group, retraces the success and growth of the event, analyses the local market situation and talks of what next year’s visitors can expect.

With the sponsorship of Compañía de Turismo de Puerto Rico and its Gaming Division, the progress of the organization in this sense has been positive. The support of the authority and the local industry, added to the enthusiasm for once again hosting a Gaming Show in the country, demonstrates the wisdom of selecting Puerto Rico as the new venue for CGS”, explains Elizabeth Leiva.

With CGS2014 fewer than 14 weeks away, the following companies have confirmed their presence: Bally, Shuffle Master, Aristocrat, Novomatic, GLI, UNLV, BMM Avigilon, Reel Games, Gaming Associates, TCS John Huxley, DLV Gaming, Zuum, Ainsworth Gaming, Ortiz, Spin Inc., Bet Construct, JF Gaming, Aruze Gaming, Gasser Chair, Amatic Gaming, Recreativos Franco, Ranger Puerto Rico, Casino Essentials, CMS Group, Axis Communications, TransAct Technologies, e-Connect, ATMMS USA, Aroma Sys, Knockout Gaming and Slot Tickets.

“Puerto Rico now faces an issue that needs to be analyzed from diverse points of view, and this meeting place for the industry is the ideal scenario to debate and share new ideas and to bring what is necessary for a change to improve the market perspective in the country and the regional progress,” said Leiva.

On top of the two-day exhibition, which will be held from 13.,30 to 18.,30 hs., there will be conferences in the morning, and a meeting for gaming regulators; and the company Avigilon will be in charge of the First Casino Forum.

There will also be a full-day course, from 9 to 17hs., on March 18th, for all casino operators and security managers of the continent. In line with its educational approach, CGS2014 will benefit from an alliance with the Florida International University (FIU) and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), who will offer two-day or three-day certified training courses.

Leiva continued, “This difficult run-in before the show is critical to its organization and will bring us an early taste of success. We expect to welcome everyone to what is the best place in the Caribbean to do business and build commercial relationships: Puerto Rico,” .
