Keynote speakers and panel discussions at Malta iGaming Seminar

(Malta).- This year’s event is being held on the 12th and 13th of November at the Le Meridien Hotel & Spa, and will host a number of influential speakers who will engage in discussion about the latest issues facing the industry. Organisers of the Malta iGaming Seminar announced that this year’s 5th annual event is on course to become their largest and most successful conference to date.

The Malta iGaming Seminar will be inaugurated by the Hon. Dr. Edward Zammit Lewis, Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Economic Growth and will be moderated by Michael Caselli, Managing Editor of iGaming Business, and AJ Thompson, a gaming veteran with over 20 years’ experience in the industry.

The line-up of topics will include; gaming in the cloud, Bitcoin, social gaming, anti-money laundering, and affiliate marketing, as well as a host different topics related to the industry and the Malta Jurisdiction.

Speaking about the event, Jeff Buttigieg, Director of RE/MAX Malta and a founding partner of MIGS, said: “The subjects being discussed are probably the most engaging yet. We are hitting some very delicate issues and we have a very qualified line up of speakers participating in the panels.”

The speakers at the conference include amongst others Vladimir Maslyakov, the CTO the EXANTE, the first company to set up a Bitcoin Hedge fund, Ulrik Bengtsson, CEO of Betsson Malta, James Illingworth, Director of European Business Development, GLI Europe B.V, Tom Galanis, Director, GameOn Affiliates as well as Joseph Borg, currently a Senior Advisor to WH Partners and formerly Chief Regulatory Officer of the Lotteries and Gaming Authority – Malta.

Christian Sammut, CEO of BMIT, a founding partner of MIGS, added that, “We are delighted to have such influential speakers addressing our event. This only confirms that MIGS is one of the most important gaming seminars to date.”

The event will take place over two full days and will include keynote speakers as well as panel discussions. During the mornings and afternoons there will be coffee breaks and lunch whereas in the evening of the 12th of November the organisers will be hosting a cocktail reception as well as a Poker tournament at the Dragonara Casino. The Malta iGaming Seminar is an ideal seminar for C-level employees, managers, affiliates, start-ups as well as those interested in starting a career in the igaming industry.
