(UK).- David Roberts, who has 18-years experience working across a range of international b2b and b2c events, has joined Clarion’s gaming team as Event Director. A

s Event Director, he will be responsible for the overall management and successful delivery of all Clarion Gaming events from both a commercial and an operational perspective.

Looking forward to his new challenge he said: “Whilst the brands are in great shape and quite rightly enjoy very positive reputations in the market, my challenge is to keep them as the brands of choice for all the people they touch, to keep innovating and to continue to deliver on behalf of our stakeholders.  Our brands, which currently comprise ICE Totally Gaming, EiG, GiGse, WrB and ICE Conferences, are at various stages of maturity and my job is to implement the visions which exist for each and to pave the way for the seamless introduction of new events as we bring them to market.  This is an exciting position within an organisation which has set new standards in the creation of world beating gaming events.”

Kate Chambers, Portfolio Director responsible for delivering Clarion’s gaming brands, stated: “David has great experience working for some of the biggest names in event organising gained across the world including North Africa, Asia, Middle East, Europe and North and South America.  He is a high calibre addition to the team and someone who will ensure that we continue to engage positively with the markets and sectors that we serve.”
