SAGSE presents brand new image and venue in Panama

(Panama).- The ribbon cut and official opening of the 2013 version of SAGSE Central America & Caribbean @ Panama will be held today at 15hs. at Vasco Nuñez de Balboa Convention Center at Hotel El Panama. During the two-day event, the show will gather an important level of international manufacturers that will exhibit the best of their catalogue of products for the region.

Organizers promise “from Mexico to Peru, all the gaming in the best place, Panama,” and remark that “the largest international manufacturers of the gaming industry prefer to exhibit in SAGSE in Panama to show their products.”

Panama choice as the venue for the show has to do with the “natural” characteristics of this place, the best flights connecting (direct flights from Las Vegas and other 60 countries), clear rules, the game under the frame of the law and the tranquility of being able to do international business for the whole region.

From Monografie they are very optimistic regarding this new edition: “We believe the success of our activity has to do with the following parameters: on one hand, the international carácter of Panama (it is not a local event, but with total and regional coverage); on the other hand, the phenomenal expansión of the gaming operation in Panama;  the worldwide industry of the manufacturing of gaming material is already present in the country in a 99 % and, finally, in a tidy organization, which is pending up to the smallest detail, so exhibitors and visitors can do their business in an environment totally according to their needs”.

The inaugural party took place yesterday night at renewed Crown Casino of Hotel El Panamá. The activities will continue between today and tomorrow in the following timetables:

- Wednesday 8

15hs. Ribbon cut and opening of the expo until 20hs. in Hotel El Panamá Convention Center.

21hs. Miss Gaming International at Casino Majestic located at Centro Comercial Multicentro.

- Thursday 9

12:30hs. At the Lounge of the expo at Hotel el Panamá Convention Center, it will take place the first Global Gaming Women event in Latin America. Exclusive event for the women of the sector. Karen Sierra, from GLI, will speak together with Marta Sánchez, Consultora Senior from Covey Consulting, will talk about the issue of effective leadership. The welcome speech will be in charge of Giselle Brea, Executive Director of the Panama Gambling Control Committee.

As it is traditional, during the party there will be given the “Golden Eagle” awards with the aim to acknowledge the career path of important personalities from the gaming industry, both in the public and prívate environment. Jens Halle (Novomatic), Antonio Sabaj (Codere), Alejandro Saraintaris (Aristocrat), Eduardo Aching (Konami), Gavin Isaac (SHFL Entertainment), Sebastián Salat (WMS) and Héctor Luna (Codere Argentina) were awarded in 2012.
