ccording to Josephine Lee, Senior President of Reed Exhibitions, one of event organizers, 27 of the total 150 exhibitors are coming to the Expo for the first time. The show floor at G2E Asia will offer services and technologies that are to “shape the Asian gaming industry for years to come,” according to organizers.

The Security & Surveillance Pavilion will host workshops in theaters on the show floor during which industry professionals can learn about new product innovations. Among the featured security and surveillance products will be CCTVs, access control, monitoring, video systems, alarms, and security software. Some companies will unveil new products at the Expo, including surveillance solutions for casinos, new games, a banknote counter with the function of sorting seven currencies, to name a few.

The forum and conference occupy a major part of the event. This year, topics will cover gaming developments in the Asia Pacific, analysis of the Chinese market, technology innovation, amongst others. On the first day of the Expo, speakers will discuss the challenges and opportunities of Manila’s first integrated resort, and Taiwan’s progress in developing a gaming industry.

Last but not least, participants will hear about the latest developments in the final phases of Cotai in Macau, as well as the progress of Hengqin Island. By exploring available investment opportunities, these discussions aim to attract potential investors.

Another highlight of the event, according to the organizers, will be the CFO roundtable on the second day (May 22nd). Chief financial officers from some of Asia’s gaming companies come together to discuss issues that impact the financial success of their resort properties.

G2E Asia has also organized a wealth of other networking activities where participants can share a meal and engage one another on matters most prevalent in gaming today. In this edition, Global Gaming Women (GGW) is to introduce a networking breakfast and mentorship roundtable, aiming to help female gaming professionals more easily identify and connect with potential mentors in the industry.

Also new at G2E Asia 2013 is G2E TV, which will live stream daily interviews with global gaming industry leaders on the show’s official website and via the new G2E Asia mobile app, G2E Asia Mobile.

Global Gaming Expo Asia is the trade show and conference for the Asian gaming market. This event focuses on the growth in Asian gaming and gives casino buyers access to new products and the latest trends, and fosters maximum networking in the Eastern hemisphere.
