hat did you think of ICE 2013 in the new ExCel venue? Was the show in line with your expectations?
ICE 2013 was an exceptionally good show for Spielo International as a whole, and for the Casino Systems channel in particular. Once visitors had found their way around the new venue layout our booth was constantly busy. We met with customers during all three days of the show, often continuing until well past closing time. Without doubt, ICE 2013 was our best ICE show ever, and it significantly exceeded my expectations.
Our stand’s open layout allowed customers to participate in presentations and demonstrations in a productive way. Now more than ever, gaming operators are keenly aware of the importance of fully integrated, high performance slot and table management systems and how they are instrumental in boosting revenues, particularly in times of economic downturn.
Because we had taken the time to properly understand these key elements that operators look for in a system, we focused on these to help their decision making process. Spielo International has been very successful in increasing awareness of its Galaxis casino management suite of modules, as well as our packaged “off the shelf” SYSTEM2go cloud-based solution. We also enjoyed offering customers exciting ICE promotions with opportunities to win product licenses, adding value to our product demonstrations.
Spielo International presented the modular Galaxis casino management solutions at ICE. What are its main features?
Galaxis is the umbrella name for our wide portfolio of market-proven casino system management modules including Galaxis Connect, Slots, tables, jackpots, bonusing, analytics, marketing, cashless and Cage & Credit. These powerful, modular solutions are used by more than 400 casinos, large and small, across the globe.
Interest was especially high in our new Galaxis Analytics module, which offers operators visual tools to better understand their floor dynamics, and then translate this into increased slot revenues. Also popular was our Galaxis Jackpots range of progressives and mysteries, which enables Casinos to add excitement and added value for their players.
On your stand there were demonstrations of System2Go. What are its main characteristics and what are the benefits it brings to operators?
The buzz around our System2go product was even greater than we had anticipated. System2go is our turnkey management system for essential accounting and reporting, with a built in jackpot engine included. Add ticketing or magnetic stripe card payment systems, player tracking, and points redemption and you have the best value solution in the market.
System2go is managed and accessed from any point on a secure internet network – including mobile devices. It continues to be a big hit with multi-site slot gaming operations in the quickly developing gaming markets of Asia, Latin America, and Central/Eastern Europe because of the speed and ease with which you can install an entire on-line, easy-to-use system.
How do you evaluate Spielo International’s presence across the different European regulated markets? Which are the most important markets for the company?
Spielo International is the number one provider of casino systems in Europe with customers in France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Denmark, to name a few. We continue to expand our customer base with installations in Eastern European countries such as in Bulgaria and shortly in Russia, too. With offices throughout Europe, we are able to provide reliable support and account management, which is key to our success.
What are your main goals and expectations for this 2013 that is starting?
As our Managing Director, Marc Attal, outlined in a recent interview with Yogonet, casino systems installations will be on the increase in 2013 compared with previous years. And the feedback we have had at ICE this year very much supports that goal.
