(UK, exclusive Scott Clarebrough, Ainsworth's Group General Manager of Strategy & Development, granted an interview to about the participation of the firm at latest ICE show. “ICE 2013 was overall a success for the industry and specifically for Ainsworth”, he commented. He also talked about future plans and about the shows in which the firm will be present this year.


hat's your opinion about ICE 2013? Was the new venue convenient for you?
ICE 2013 was overall a success for the industry and specifically for Ainsworth. The Excel Convention and Exhibition Centre was an exceptional facility whilst transport was not easy to and from the venue. 

What was visitors response to the products you presented?
Our products were well received with the all new Slant Top cabinet launch being the highlight of the show. The all new innovative A560st Slant Top is an engineering masterpiece that perfectly embodies the attributes of a classic entertainer. The A560st provides for state-of-the-art technology with its dual widescreen LCD platform, powerful Quadtronic processor, compact storage, premium sound system and foremost an intuitive player interface supporting a 15 button play deck play with a programmable button option. Coupled with this is, was the launch of the latest Jackpot Mystery packages: Hummin Mystery and Glitter Mystery together with the QX32 which generated a large amount of interest! The QX32 is an intelligent controller that sets itself apart from the competition, not only does it manage multiple jackpot banks, the QX32 has the ability to simultaneously manage both symbol and mystery jackpot pools.
Where did most of your clients and visitors come from?
Ainsworth had customers visit from various countries throughout Eastern and Western Europe, Latin America and Australia.

What will be your shows calendar for the rest of the year?
Throughout 2013, Ainsworth will be demonstrating the creative and innovative edge their products showcase to the industry at a range of tradeshows in Australia and the Americas; SAGSE, NIGA, G2E Asia, AGE and G2E Las Vegas to name a few.     

What will be your next steps?
Ainsworth has been building for the future and now we’re ready to further raise the performance bar with more leading edge brands and exceptional game titles in 2013. The end goal for Ainsworth to provide to our customers a consistent world class product offering featuring a complete range of versatile cabinet options to support the rapidly expanding international game range in our endeavours to provide the customers with maximum value on their investment.
