What's your opinion about ICE 2013? Was the new venue convenient for you?
The new venue, even if a bit far from the city center and the main airport, was better than the old one both for the services offered and the aesthetics. The show has been quite satisfying for us, we collected some good leads and strengthened existing relationships. We have had the chance to get the sense of the market’s trend and to understand which is the right direction to take.
What was visitors response to the products you presented?
All the visitors were very interested in the products and solutions presented, especially in our new arrivals. One of these is the Big II Touch PC, an all-in-one micro PC terminal with 7” LED touch screen monitor, thermal printer and card reader that make it the compact solution for the value-added services in the point of sale such as instant lotteries, phone and pay-tv cards, payment of duty, fines and postal bills, fidelity and loyalty. Great interest also for the new mobile solutions, able to print from Tablets and IPads through Bluetooth and Wi-fi.
Where did most of your clients and visitors come from?
Mostly from UK and East Europe, we have also noticed an increase in the US visitors.
What will be your shows calendar for the rest of the year?
We have many exhibitions scheduled for the rest of the year all over the world: Retail Business Expo in London, Passenger Terminal Expo in Geneva, Gitex in Dubai, Future Travel Experience in Las Vegas and Hong Kong and many others.
What will be your next steps?
Custom will continue to invest in R&D to renew constantly its products and solutions to be able to answer to the new market requirements and to the forward-looking trends. We bring our attention towards new technologies which will allow, today as in the past, to face with success new markets and possibilities. The aim is to offer an always more user-friendly and prompt technology and a turnkey package to our customers.
