Interview to Tom Nieman, JCM VP of Global Marketing

“ICE 2013 was fantastic in general and specifically for JCM”

He was also satisfied with new ExCel Centre and commented the main products that the firm presented there. He also detailed the shows in which the company will participate within 2013.


hat's your opinion about ICE 2013? Was the new venue convenient for you?
ICE 2013 was fantastic, in general and specifically for JCM. The show attracted a large number of decision-level attendees, which of course, is critical for success. The ExCel Centre was a terrific new venue and gave attendees and exhibitors a chance to experience a new part of London, and it also provided a great deal of flexibility for exhibitors that was simply not possible at Earl’s Court.

What was visitors response to JCM Global’s solutions?
We had an incredible reaction from our visitors. We showed our new Dynamic Network Applications (DNA), iV8 table game bill validator, Mobile Wager Wallet, iVIZION bill validator, iPRO-RC bill validator, and a range of other cash-management solutions.
As was the case at G2E, DNA had an overwhelmingly positive response as attendees realized its full range of capabilities. Building on iVIZION’s foundation of intelligent validation, DNA is a bundled set of enhancement tools that gives operators extensive reports in real time and deliver firmware updates instantly, with no downtime, across the entire operation. DNA also enables regulators to instantly verify peripheral devices, software versions, view reports and more. In other words, this original technology is even further enhancing profitability, productivity and efficiency.

We had an impressive demonstration of iV8 on a baccarat table with a live dealer. Attendees were extremely impressed with iV8’s speed, accuracy and ability to dramatically increase the number of hands played per hour.

The Mobile Wager Wallet was an exciting glimpse into the future of cash management by mobile phone through NFC technology. Operators, suppliers and regulators were all impressed and reacted enthusiastically.

Where did most of your clients and visitors come from?
We had customers visit us from across Western and Eastern Europe. We had a few customers from North and South America; however, the majority was European.

What will be your shows calendar for the rest of the year?
We have an aggressive gaming industry tradeshow calendar in 2013. We will next exhibit at ICMOA, Southern Gaming, G2E Asia, the Canadian Gaming Summit, OIGA, AGE, G2E and SAGSE. The message our tradeshow schedule sends is that JCM Global is truly a global company with innovative, worldwide solutions.

What will be your next steps?
JCM is aggressive in evolving our company and products. We want to work with our customers to understand their challenges and provide elegant and efficient solutions.
