The show will represent landmark launch of firm’s new brand

Quixant to showcase its cutting-edge gaming platforms range in ICE 2013

(UK).- Quixant will be showcasing its comprehensive portfolio of gaming platforms and accessories at ICE 2013 (booth S10-140), which takes place from 5th-7th February 2013 at ExCel, London. One of the highlights at the show will be the flagship QX-40 gaming platform, based on the revolutionary AMD Embedded R-Series APU.

he flagship QX-40 gaming platform, based on the revolutionary AMD Embedded R-Series APU, will be demonstrated driving 10 independent high definition Quixant DisplayPort monitors through the use of DisplayPort 1.2 Multi-Stream Technology (MST).  Launched in summer 2012, the QX-40 has raised the bar on the level of performance, graphics capabilities and features which are available in an all-in-one gaming platform, and as expected interest in the product by customers has been exceptional.

The QXi-4000 mid-range gaming platform was launched at the G2E in 2012 and raises the level of performance and features available at such a competitive price point. Based around the same AMD Embedded R-Series APU architecture as the flagship QX-40, the QXi-4000 can drive four independent HD screens and integrates Quixant’s advanced PCI Express based gaming logic and non-volatile memory.

Gary Mullins, Sales Director of Quixant, commented “Our deep commitment and continuous investment in R&D is what differentiates our products over our competitors.  We do not solely seek to increase performance with each new product iteration but also to identify industry trends and evolve key features of our gaming platform range to be ahead of these trends.”

“Also on demonstration will be Quixant’s DisplayPort monitors utilizing Multi Stream Transport (MST) to daisy-chain multiple high definition (HD) display from a single DisplayPort interface.  This product line perfectly complements the QX-40 and QXi-4000 gaming platforms.”

“We will also be demonstrating the well-established QXi-106 and QXi-200 gaming platforms. ICE 2013 will also represent the landmark launch of Quixant’s new brand.  Since its foundation in 2005, Quixant has enjoyed exceptional success in introducing its advanced computer platforms to the market and the new brand represents an exciting new chapter in the company’s evolution.”

Nick Jarmany, Managing Director of Quixant, stated: “2013 is set to be another prosperous year for Quixant.  The launch of the new brand underpins the company’s philosophy of remaining fresh and innovative but with an enduring and deep knowledge of the gaming industry. ”
