(Hong Kong).- George Spassov, HYT Industrial Design Manager/Sales Representative for Europe, granted an interview to Yogonet.com in which he made an evaluation of the current year and talked about the main challenges he had to face in their major markets. “We like challenges as they help us grow and develop as a leader in the gaming supplier market,” he assured.

What is the evaluation of this year?
At HYT we had a productive 2012 year. We had the opportunity to develop wide range of new products for our existing customers as well as some new and very interesting products for our "standard" line of products, that we can now offer to our newcoming customers.
We also had the opportunity to develop close relations with companies from Latin and North America, Africa and Europe.

What were the main challenges that you had to face within your major markets?
We like challenges as they help us grow and develop as a leader in the gaming supplier market. One of the big obstacles we had to overcome this year was the implementation of die-cast part in our products. Die-casting has long been reserved for the major players in the gaming field, but we wanted to give this opportunity to the smaller companies, so they can have a products that is sophisticated and competitive. The challenge was that while we wanted to offer this new manufacturing tool to our customers we also had to keep the costs of the finished product competitive. Right now there is a large share of the market looking for an inexpensive, but presentable gaming cabinet, and we believe we have met this requirement with our new line of products, that will be exhibited at the ICE 2013 in London.

In your opinion, what was the most outstanding novelty (positively or negatively)?
As it comes to the shape of the gaming cabinet, this year we have not seen major innovation on the market, however one of the positive innovations is the implementation of a touch screen as a player interaction panel (instead of the traditional button panel).

What was the most innovative product or service launched this year by your company?
This year we developed a new kind of gaming cabinet we called the "Stand-up" cabinet. It has the features and ergonomic solutions of the upright cabinet, but it is much lighter and compact, and it has an innovative shape.

In your opinion, what is the country with the highest growth potential for next year and why?
Our goals are to enter in higher production volume the Latin American and Asian markets, which have an immense potential.

What are your company's plans for 2013?
We are expanding our manufacturing grounds, so we can offer lower production unit price as well as better work environment for our team.

How do you picture the gaming industry in 2013? Will it be similar to this year? Will there be a growth or slowdown?
Naturally we are working towards creating better opportunity for our customers with our great products, which in turn we hope to create more demand and better opportunities for them.
