Quixant welcomes new team members to all its cross-border facilities

(UK).- Quixant announced the appointment of several new members of staff to its facilities in Italy, Taiwan, UK and USA. Cresten Preddy was named Finance Director for the group in July 2012. Other appointments were Jon Jayal, Christina Buscaglia, Andrea Cho, Carolyn Kajkowski, Sean Lee and Mike Riley.

resten Preddy, FCA was appointed as Finance Director for the group in July 2012. Cresten has worked with Quixant since 2009 as the firm’s external accountant and advisor but has now joined as a permanent member of the team. She has a distinguished career in accountancy, having previously assumed roles with Arthur Andersen and NCL Investments (now part of Smith & Williamson). She has since operated as a qualified sole practitioner for a number of clients, including Quixant. Cresten is qualified as a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
 
Jon Jayal, CFA has joined Quixant’s UK headquarters in Cambridge as General Manager. Jon was one of the key members of the design team which developed Quixant’s first product, the QX-10, but left Quixant in 2006 to broaden his experience in the financial sector, both as an investment consultant at Mercer and as account manager at BlackRock.  His deep knowledge of the technology that is the foundation of Quixant’s business together with his wider financial and managerial experience means he is ideally suited to help Quixant continue its rapid rate of growth as part of the management team.
 
Christina Buscaglia, bilingual in English and Italian, has joined Quixant as Sales and Operations Assistant. Based in Cambridge, Buscaglia combines a wealth of customer service experience with a financial background from her previous role at Santander.  Her addition to the Quixant team ensures continued excellence in customer service and efficient order management as the company continues to experience rapid growth.
 
Andrea Cho has joined Quixant’s Taiwan-based manufacturing facility as Production Control Specialist. With more than 10 years experience of production control field in leading IPC companies such as DT Research, ADlink and Aaeon Tech, Cho will be responsible for management and control of inventory and supplies to ensure an efficient production schedule.
 
Carolyn Kajkowski has joined Quixant USA as Sales and Marketing Assistant based in Las Vegas, USA.  She previously earned marketing experience interning at the Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) until her graduation from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada.   She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Sean Lee has joined Quixant’s Taiwan facility as Purchasing Manager. With over 11 years experience as Supply Chain Manager at IBM and ASUSTeK, Lee is a valuable hire to the Manufacturing Division and will ensure reliability in the supply of components for manufacturing of Quixant’s products.
 
Mike Riley has recently joined Quixant USA as Field Application Engineer based in Las Vegas, USA. Riley has been building, maintaining and developing software for embedded computer systems for more than 30 years working for companies such as Sun Microsystems and Diamond Game. He brings valuable technical skills to help support our growing US customer base.
