Macau casinos could see flat growth in July

(Macau).- Japanese brokerage Nomura says Macau’s casino gross gaming revenue for July could come in within a range of us$ 3 billion to us$ 3.07 billion. This would mean flat to low-single-digit year-on-year growth.

(Macau).- Japanese brokerage Nomura says Macau’s casino gross gaming revenue for July could come in within a range of us$ 3 billion to us$ 3.07 billion. This would mean flat to low-single-digit year-on-year growth.

Macau’s casinos reported gross gaming revenue of us$ 2.98 billion on July last year.

Nomura cited its sources noting that the first 15 days in July delivered us$ 1.45 billion for Macau gaming sector.

The Japanese brokerage mentioned anecdotal evidence suggesting mass-market business continues to see traffic picking up, while there is a slight VIP revenue slowdown.
