ow do you evaluate the participation of Bally in the third edition of CIJUEGO?
Bally Technologies’ participation in CIJUEGO was very positive. The main operators from both the province and from Lima have come to visit our booth; it complied with all our expectations.
What advantages do manufacturers have when exhibiting in an event with the format of CIJUEGO?
The format of CIJUEGO is very convenient because it enables us to showcase our latest innovations and it does not involve excessive costs or a great logistic coordination for the assembly of the show.
What products/novelties did you present in CIJUEGO?
The main theme of the booth was related to Fish’n for Loot, the first game in which the main display interacts with our exclusive iDeck, where the player touches the iDeck to create bubbles, targeting the fish that are swimming by on the two main screens; it is a unique functionality in the industry. We also exhibit Vegas Hits, one of the most successful Premium games in Latin America. We showcased our Pro Slant and Pro V32 cabinets as well with standalone core-video games such as Easy Cash Eddy, Cash Wave and Flippin’ Wild.
What comments have you received by the operators that visited your booth? What was their feedback regarding Fish’n for Loot and the rest of the products presented?
The customers’ feedback was fabulous. All of the visitors remarked the high grade of technological innovation that Bally has had in the last two years, as well as the quality of all the games released. A proof of this is being the company with more awards received for its innovation in different international markets. Fish’n for Loot, selected as the “Best Slot Product” in the Gaming and Technology Awards celebrated during G2E 2011- is today available for all our customers in Peru.
What games and systems from Bally have a better performance and acceptance in the Peruvian market?
Cash Spin, the first interactive game with its “U-Spin Wheel” that was chosen as the “Best Slot Product” in G2E 2010 and the games in Pro Series V22/22 cabinet that are exhibiting excellent performance and positive feedback from the Peruvian market. Regarding systems, one of the main operators in Lima is implementing and will soon launch our SDS system online with iVIEW DM, where slots, on top of the traditional game, become an interactive multi-service terminal for the players.
How will the Peruvian gaming market be influenced by the implementation of the online control system?
The online control system will enable a monitoring of the game in Peru, combining the possibilities among operators and allowing for the State take the most appropriate measures for a smart development of the industry.
What are your goals for the short and medium term in Peru?
The short-term goal in Peru is to bring operators highly profitable products and that players become familiar with our innovative games with unique technology and interaction. These products can already be found in different Peruvian casinos.
