Statements by Alan Burak, Show Manager of the event

“SAGSE Panama exceeded our own expectations”

(Panama, exclusive On the closure of the event that, for two days, gathered the gaming industry in Panama, Alan Burak, Commercial Manager and Show Manager of SAGSE, showed his satisfaction with the result reached this year, because, as organizers, they managed to increase the volume of visitors and reaffirmed their bet on this market. For 2013, Burak anticipates that “the event will have an important twist” with an important presence of the online gaming market.

We can make a positive balance of our 2012 edition, because we exceeded our expectations as well as our exhibitors’ expectations, and the main termometer were the important businesses that have been closed during the event, and the fact that, in general, all the companies that accompany us this year are satisfied with the result,” assured Burak.

“Companies like Merkur have preferred this event over other regional exhibitions, we have received nice compliments by the exhibitors; and Aristocrat or Novomatic, to cite two cases, have assured us that they found more international public here than in other shows.”

When talking about the keys of SAGSE Panama, Burak commented: “I think that this year, the presentation of the conferences has been crucial, and bringing an important figure such as Randall Fine, added to the boost by SAGSE Case Study, generated a synergy that expanded the offer of the event and attracted a lot of public.”

“We have invested a lot of effort and a considerable amount of money in marketing and promotion, visiting in person all the Caribbean operators. We also strenghtened the visits to the main operators, from Mexico to the Andean Region, which finally generated a greater amount of visitors, and more commitment by the exhibiting companies that accompanied us, when they understood that here they would generate new and beneficial business,” he added.

And with the mind already focused in 2013, Burak added: “Next year the event will have an important twist, because this year we have brought 14 online gaming operators, and we expect to offer them conferences and spaces dedicated to this market the following year. Besides, we are in conversations with CIBELAE to hold an important meeting in Panama, coinciding with SAGSE Gaming Panama 2013, which also generates great expectations.”

“And although dates are not confirmed yet, we will announce them soon, together with the news of the change of venue for the event. Today we are really very satisfied with the current edition of the show, and we feel we have confirmed that, from Mexico to Peru, all the gaming was present in the best place: Panama”.
