ondon-based SIS recently premiered the evening live streaming service via its SIS+ betting shop channel and currently has around 1,200 sites showing races from countries including Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.
After trialling the innovation, which consists of almost 4,000 races a year, SIS revealed that Paddy Power has now agreed to add the live streaming service to the portfolio available to digital customers via its website at PaddyPower.com.
“There has been a great response to Latin American racing both in the shops and now online,” said Brent Dolan, Operations Director for SIS. “We’re always looking for ways to add quality thoroughbred horseracing and a further step towards that is providing this live stream.
“We’re delighted to be working with Paddy Power who has provided valuable feedback in helping us shape the service. It was using the service across its retail estate and online was a logical next step for it.”
SIS stated that the in-shop service typically runs up to 9:30pm and features five to seven races but, due to the time difference, online punters will be able to continue watching and wagering up to midnight with an average of twelve meets. Racing is due to come from the Valparaiso Hipodromo Chile and Club Hipico Santiago racetracks in Chile, the La Plata and San Isidro venues in Argentina and Uruguay’s Maronas while start times are set to vary depending on the host nation from 6pm to 8pm.
This is the latest success for SIS after it recently began offering live streaming horse races from Germany and Dubai in addition to greyhound racing. All races from Latin America for shops and online are available as part of the SISdata365 feed and included in the Racing Post Betting Shop Display Edition with form and analysis.
