(Peru, exclusive Yogonet.com).- For the second year in a row, CIJUEGO was the frame of the meeting of the II Latin American Summit of Games of Chance Associations. The entities that responded to the announcement were Sonaja, Cot, Feceazar, Fecoljuegos, Acoja, Asaja and Proas. Business social responsibility dominated the conversation among representatives of the sector.

“An interesting effort is being made in order to gather the Latin American games of chance associations around common goals related to the regulatory frames of each of the countries and the implementation of business social responsibility actions”, commented Baltazar Medina, President of the Colombian Federation of Games of Chance Businessmen (Feceazar), one of the participants of the meeting.

“From now on, one of the key objectives is the improvement of the gaming image. The aim is to achieve more recognition and reputation. We want to appear confident, both to regulatory entities and the commercial banking, a sector with which we have many difficulties,” pointed Medina.

In the future, the representatives of the associations of the sector do not discard the creation of a Latin American confederation which works as a governing body neither the possibility to hold its meetings within other events beyond CIJUEGO.

The closure of the Summit counted with the presence of Engineer Manuel San Román Benavente, General Director of Casino of Mincetur, who was at the disposal of the associations to bring contributions in its capacity as regulator. Both days, held within CIJUEGO, also counted with the participation of the former Chile Casino Superintendent, Francisco Leiva.
