“Quixant’s product positioning at Mexican and Latin American market is excellent”

(Mexico, Exclusive Yogonet.com).- Gary Mullins, Sales Director of Quixant, granted an interview to Yogonet.com in which he evaluated the participation of the firm at recent ELA event. “The expectations for this region are extensive and very positive”, he said, and then added that the firm will also be present at SAGSE show in Argentina with its partner Suzo Happ.

How do you evaluate the participation of ELA Quixant in 2012?
Quixant have participated as exhibitors at the ELA show since its fourth edition and also been continuously involved in all of the major worldwide trade shows of the gaming industry. The ELA show gave us the ideal meeting point with our customers, giving us the perfect chance to find new opportunities and discover news from the market. Overall, we strongly believe that the trade show was a success for us. We had on show our new platform, the QX-40, based on the new AMD APU R-series APU with AMD Radeon 7000 series graphics capable of driving up to ten screens. The feedback from customers and visitors has been very positive, finding real business opportunities whilst positioning our wide range of products in this important market.

What was your opinion on the situation arising between the Association of Operators Licensees and Suppliers Industry Entertainment and Gaming Bet on Mexico (AIEJA) and the Association of Gaming Licensees of Mexico (APJSAC)? How was this reflected in the quality of visitors?
In regards of the number of visitors, the figures provided by the organization confirmed that the flow of traffic must have fallen by around 10% from the previous edition. However, we were busy both days attending meetings and speaking with visitors at our stand. We did miss operators that would have attended had the situation not taken place. Overall, the trade show for Quixant was a complete success, and we look forward to attending next year.

What is the position of your products in Mexico?
Currently, Quixant’s product positioning at the Mexican and Latin American market is excellent. We already have several of the major manufacturers using our technology and this number looks like it will increase over the next months.

What are your expectations for this market?
The expectations for this region are extensive and very positive. This is an important market for Quixant and as the market grows and adopts the very latest technology Quixant are positioned to increase its market share.

What other Latin American exhibitions will you be presenting at this year?
 We will be attending the SAGSE show in Argentina with our partner Suzo Happ.
