ow did the Asian market respond to the all new platform A560st, the latest line-up of link packages from its stunning World of Jackpots and all the products that you have presented?
The response to all product displayed was excellent. We were very excited to give the first view of our Slant Top in Macau. It’s similar to our A560 and everyone who saw it congratulated us on the design, most saying that it has the style and feel of a real gaming machine in the Slant configuration, something many operators believe was missing till this release.
What can you tell us about G2E Asia visitors’ quality?
Numbers are not large at this show but the quality of the customer was exceptionally high. All the senior Slot Managers from Macau and the rest of the Asian region did attend and visited our display.
Which Asian markets are your main target?
We now have two people based in Macau as we are looking to expand our foot print here. In saying that it’s clear we are interested in becoming a major supplier to all markets in Asia. With the world wide success of the A560 and our high performance games we expect a progressive expansion.
In your opinion, what is Ainsworth’s potential in this fast growing market?
Given the expansion of the A560 product family we believe our growth will be a natural occurrence. As I said earlier we expect to be a major supplier in the next year or so. The company’s expansion in the US will also support our growth in Asia and other regions. As the company grows so will the product offering and this will be a good thing for anyone that operates gaming machines. There are a lot of great things happening at AGT and we are looking forward to releasing more innovative product.
