The firm is already in operation in six Asian countries

Positive G2E Asia premiere for DRGT

(Macau).- DRGT powered by SiP exhibited for the very first time at the G2E Asia that took place last May 22-24 in Macau. DR Gaming Technology is the independent international systems provider and so a global supplier of integrated casino management solutions for the gaming industry.

eing an independent systems provider to the gaming industry means that DR Gaming Technology can focus its strategy around gaming systems
and the devices interacting with these systems. The focus is being able to connect all slots – regardless of age and regardless of manufacturer. Thus, the DRGT motif is that DRGT works with all slots.

This serverless technology provides gaming operators with a proven extremely secure and cost-effective solution. Thus, DRGT powered by SiP is revolutionising the systems market by reducing user complexity and making it available to all operators – from the smallest to the largest. Systems technology is indeed highly complex. DRGT powered by SiP has designed its technology around security and user friendliness.

The latter means that the DRGT technology is simple to operate and thus takes away the previous necessity of employing specialised IT staff to run the casino systems. Furthermore, the independence of DRGT means that operators are rest assured that they have a partner that can focus on the present slots floor and no longer have to link a systems implementation with a machine park update. The oldest stepper slots are often still popular and now even these slots can be linked together.

DRGT powered by SiP solutions are modular and future-proof. Thus, operators can expand their systems solutions when necessary. The solutions range from accounting (drAccounting), to bonusing (drBonusing) and jackpots (drJackpots) and much more. The main focus is on cashless gaming. Here DRGT powered by SiP provides all current solutions – via card or ticket. Furthermore, the in-house solution via the iButton allows for greater choice. This proven system is the simplest and most-effective to implement.

On the ticket side, should the slot machines not have the technological capabilities to allow for a ticket printer, the drSide Box is the solution that contains the ticket printer in a sealed unit and is then linked to the slot machine. Thus, the complete slots machines on the gaming floor can be linked to cashless and that at a very cost-effective rate.

DRGT powered by SiP has invested strongly to have the necessary structure to match its growth path. Today DRGT powered by SiP is implemented in six Asian countries – namely Cambodia, Macau, Malaysia, Laos, the Philippines and Vietnam.

The interest for DRGT powered by SiP at the G2E Asia was thus expected to be high for this premiere. The firm is making a name for itself in Asia as well as more and more operators discover the benefits this company offers. The information on the recent growth in Latin America such as in Columbia and Peru of DRGT powered by SiP has reached Asian operators.

Georg Steiner, Senior Director Business Development at DRGT, was very enthusiastic when asked about DRGT’s opportunities in Asia. He explained: “The Asian gaming market will be a main focus area of our activities in the future. The interest received from the ample visitors to our stand has demonstrated that we are very welcome here. Our independent, flexible, modular and cost-effective serverless systems solutions are in addition to this GLI and BMM certified so can be simply implemented according to local gaming legislation. Thus, we are bringing real value to the table. It is a breath of fresh air the sheer positive way we are being received at all exhibitions around the world. There have been numerous already including London, Dublin, Bogota, and now here in Macau. We invite all operators to contact us and learn of the real benefits we can offer. The fact that our software is modular means that all investments made continue to be of value even when the system is expanded upon – for example from accounting to include cashless to then include bonusing, jackpots, live gaming and the cage. No servers are required. This reduces costs dramatically. Furthermore, no servers also means no potential weak link as when a server goes down then the systems are disabled alongside this.  This is not an issue for us.”

Jurgen De Munck, CEO and co-founder of DRGT, added: “The whole team at DRGT would like to thank our visitors at the G2E Asia and we look forward to following up on discussions held there. We are bringing independent, flexible systems solutions which will enable the gaming markets here to grow further”.
