(Mexico, Exclusive “Mexico is important for BetStone and we remain committed to this market,” said Eileen Stephens, BetStone Marketing Manager, who talked about the latest product launches at recent ELA event as well as the feedback received by visitors. She also talked about the current situation of the firm in the different markets at a global level.


hat have you shown here in Mexico this year?
This year at ELA Mexico, BetStone launched Thunderstruck II, the highly anticipated sequel to Thunderstruck, which is being released to operators in the coming weeks and players are very excited about this new video slot. We also have the XGS System, cloud-based gaming software, which is a complete set of management tools for operators. This system enables Operators to manage the casino floor, from cash management through to complete floor analysis with real time reporting. With the enhanced player-tracking functionality Operators can create customised marketing campaigns for their players. We are continuously developing new features to further enhance the XGS System which are released to Operators as they become available.

How was the feedback from the visitors?
With the new features from the XGS System, our customers are very excited about it; they are able to enhance their operations through greater operational analysis and control on the casino floor along with customisation of campaigns for their players. Feedback to date has been extremely positive with many new casinos availing of the XGS System. With Thunderstruck II, visitors to the stand that played the game loved the new bonus features and are looking forward to its release.

How important is the Mexican market for BetStone?
Mexico is important for BetStone and we remain committed to this market. We have attended the Mexican show since its inauguration and it is a great opportunity to showcase our full portfolio of products along with our new releases to operators in the region. Mexico in general has been growing continuously over the last few years and this has been reflected in our business.

When was the launch of the server-based gaming solutions in Mexico?
BetStone has been operating server-based gaming solutions globally for almost a decade now, and we have been providing Cloud-based solutions in Mexico for the past 6 or 7 years.  Our XGS System with its enhanced features is completely Cloud-based enabling Operators of all sizes avail of powerful and sophisticated management software to operate their business.

What is the current situation of the company in the rest of Latin America?
BetStone already has a large presence in Mexico as well as other regions in Latin America.  With the gaming industry growing in South America – the region is offering much potential.  In addition to South America, BetStone also operates in European and Asian markets. 

What about the European market? What is the presence of the company in the region?
BetStone also has operations in Europe. The European market in general is changing with the introduction of new regulations in different countries. Our experience has enabled us to quickly adapt to changing market conditions and changing regulations. Our server based gaming solutions enables BetStone to enter new markets quickly and adapt to changing market conditions as well as customise the product to local requirements.
