Ukash is awarded with Payments Company of the Year

(UK).- Ukash, leading global emoney network and specialists in prepaid payment solutions for the gaming sector, has been awarded for excellence at the B2B eGaming Review Awards as Payments Company of the Year 2012.

he eGaming award follows on from the announcement that Ukash have once again been awarded the Queen’s Award for International Trade which was announced last month.

David Hunter, Ukash’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “To be recognised twice in a four week period for outstanding achievement as industry specialists and also awarded for high performance by HM the Queen reflects the hard work and dedication shown by our staff and partners. It’s these ongoing efforts that have enabled more and more consumers and players all over the world to spend cash online safely and simply.”

The EGR B2B Awards is the eGaming service providers and B2B operator’s industry event of the year with payments companies such as paysafecard.com, Skrill, SafeCharge and WorldPay all competing for the title of Payments Company of the Year.

In the last five years, Ukash has expanded from 8 to 57 countries, and is now available at over 420,000 physical points of purchase across six continents.

Ukash has reported 85% year-on-year growth in both 2010 and 2011 and projected growth for 2012 remains in excess of 70%. Customer satisfaction is another indicator of Ukash’s success, with 89% of customers saying they would recommend Ukash.

The firm empowers people to exchange their coins and banknotes for a unique 19 digit Ukash code, which can be used as payment at thousands of websites.
